  • And then, test VIBRA's component stripe if VIBRA's component doesn't broken. Otherwise when there is no movement of multitester needle, its mean stripe brokened. We can do jumpering system from controlling IC (IC UI) to VIBRA's component. Investigate and test that positive stripe (+) from battery to VIBRA in good condition, If the stripe is broken off do jumpering system in stripe that broken.
  • If both of VIBRA's component and stripe are good, but handphone can not vibrate, So try to investigate and test that IC UI is good. If IC UI is good, heating IC UI with blower.
  • if your IC UI was broken. change with newly.
  • If the all of the analysis your problem net be solved change the UEm IC

Problem : When we calling with our handphone, suddenly our handphone dies.
Repair Procedure :
  • Using power supply, when your handphone still in off state, look the ampere needle in power supply will not move.
  • But when we turn on handphone and calling some number, then see ampere needle will show number on 400 mili ampere, While normal number at calling is under number 400 mili ampere.
  • Change IC PA newly.

Battery has broken, so can't be charged. Investigate that the konektor refilling battery still good. And then investigate and testing on the handphone.
  • If there are message "Not Charging" on your handphone screen or when handphone was charging, and indicator run but without fill battery or the indicator doesn't run when charging, It means that IC Charge was broken. Change with new IC Charge.
  • if indicator of charger run, although handphone not charging, it means that the IC Power was broken. Change with new IC Power.
  • Handphone was not charging but the charge indicator was run, It means that software was broken. Flashing the program with the same version.
  • When Handphone charged, it always die, it means that IC Charge or IC Power was broken. Investigate and testing the handphone to determine that IC Charge or IC Power was broken, and then change IC Charge or IC Power.
  • After charging the handphone, There electricity leakage before button power-on depressed, When you press the button power-on, Handphone doesn't burn. That problem cause of electricity leakage in capacity power supplies. The target are IC Power, IC UI, IC PA which linked with VBAT battery, Units that often broken is IC Power, IC UI. Because IC Power is BGA, That is integrated IC, So step which usually use are release IC UI, Then re-charge the handphone, Looking for electricity leakege. if there is no electricity leakkage, it means IC UI was brokens, otherwise it means that IC Power was broken.
  • If we charging the handphone, Then press ON's button, but Handphone doesn't active, There is no electricity into handphone. So measure it in R224, If both of the point doesn't have VBAT's tension 3,2 Vs, it means that IC Power was broken or There soldering unfavourable in IC power. Change IC Power that broken or re-soldering IC Power.
  • Try to re-flashing your handphone.

Speaker phone error

When the handphone which use for calling, the receiver can not hear our voice. Investigate and Testing the MIC's component using multitester with step as follows:
  • Using manual multitester in scale x l, Connect the positive pole cable and Negative pole cable from multitester in MIC's component feet, it the needle of multitester move so MIC's component in good condition. But if the needle of multitester motion less so we must replaced MIC's component, Because MIC's component was damaged.
  • Furthermore we try stripe of MIC's component. For it, we use manual multitester in scale x1 too, Correlate cable of multitester with MIC's interfaces on positive pole and Negative, if the needle move, so the stripe is well, but if needle of multitester motion less, so MIC's stripe is brokened off. We can use system jumper to solve it.
  • If the stripe is well, Try to heat audio IC using blower.
  • If handphone still dumb, Change audio IC with newly.
  • If the handphone still dumb, So problem found in software of handphone.

Signal repair procedure

When we insert SIM card then on the handphone, there is no signal or network that appear in handphone LCD.lets try this repair procedure:

  • Investigate the antenna component and antenna connector, make sure linked well. Even your handphone using inside antenna, relating to PCB or mainboard that pass two elastic contact pointers, if both are bad contact, the problem is no network and bad signal receiving then lost (no signal). Especially the machine that bumped or drop into water, the bad contact and oxidation will happen in contact pointer. Antenna switch is only way to receive and transmit signal, if broken or broken soldering pin, will cause no network or transmission.
  • Furthermore we try to search network in handphone manually, if it fail againt, it means there is problem in RF IC (HAGAR), so change RF IC (HAGAR).
  • Network can be looked for with manual method but Sometimes fail, Even can not linked with the network. This is caused IC RF's problem (HAGAR), IC Audio (COBBA). If COBBA's module shows error, The possibility caused of BGA's soldering and bad units, or Current deficit. But usually HAGAR's problem caused by bad unit.
  • If look for network with manual method only gets 1 (one) operator/provide cellular service service, So there problem in IC VCO, Change this VCO IC so problem finished
  • If there is no problem with manual method, Investigate stripe from battery to IC PA, if there is no problem with stripe, investigating that IC PA's component functioneds well. We can use multitester to test IC PA, If IC PA doesn't functioned well, We shall change this IC PA so problem finished.
  • If Hadware testing and Repair have been done but signal still fluctuates, So check the software. Flash handphone as according as kind of handphone and Previous handphone software version or with the latest software version (upgrade)
